Gary Kennedy
Founder of Babylon Financial Technology.
Gary co-founded Clarus Financial Technology in 2012 (acquired by ION in 2021). He brings over 25 years of experience in OTC derivatives markets and financial technology, with prior quantitative roles at Calypso, SunGard, and First Derivatives. He also holds a PhD in Pure Mathematics from Queen’s University Belfast.
Our name pays homage to The Richest Man in Babylon, George S. Clason’s enduring classic on personal finance. First published in the 1920s, its timeless parables remain a foundational guide to the principles of building and managing wealth—lessons as true today as they were a century ago.
