About

Babylon Financial Technology develops systems and APIs that ingest investment data from disparate sources, normalise it into a consistent financial model, and enable reliable analysis and portfolio management. Reliable investment analysis begins with high-quality, well-structured data, which is why Babylon places particular emphasis on making investment data easy to ingest while preserving its structure, meaning and quality. Where they have broader value, selected components of the underlying technology are released as open source.

Why the name Babylon?

The company’s name pays homage to The Richest Man in Babylon by George S. Clason, an enduring classic on personal finance. First published in the 1920s, its timeless lessons on building and managing wealth continue to inspire us at Babylon today.
